Habitat Forest Dome for hire!
A cross-cultural community arts project, Habitat was designed as a unique promotion of cultural and environmental sustainability.
The Habitat Forest Dome is a 5 x 3.6 metre high stainless steel light-weight demountable dome based on a ‘Tree of Life’ theme.
It has double-sided hand-printed fabric featuring the colourful imagery of sacred leaves and fruit trees. One of 5 entrances, an elegant red gum "universal" doorway invites you into the magical space of the Forest Dome.
The Habitat Forest Dome was created in partnership with professional artists and culturally diverse members of the community. It was a City of Marion community development project for Marion Celebrates 2005 Festival and was the major focus of the festival's site design.
The Habitat Forest Dome is now available for hire by schools, groups and others. It makes an ideal space for story-telling, a colourful centrepiece to an event or festival or an excellent cross-cultural educational resource.
