The toy libraries provide toys, games and other resources to children, parents, care givers and groups such as play groups and family day care providers. The principal age range targeted is 0 – 12 years of age.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership Fees & Borrowing Information
Individual: $11.00 per annum (inc. GST)
2 toys for a 2 week loan period
Family: $22.00 per annum (inc. GST)
6 toys for a 2 week loan period
Concession: Individual: $8.80 (inc. GST) - Family: $17.00 (inc. GST)
Organisation: $55.00 per annum (inc. GST)
10 toys for a 2 week loan period
To join you will need:
- Individual: Identification with your name, current address and signature (individuals younger than 18 years require a guarantor).
- Concession: a Pension card, family/health care card or veterans affairs card must be presented at the time of payment of concession membership.
- Organisation: a covering letter from the Manager or Head of the organisation that acknowledges that the organisation accepts responsibility for any losses or damages and is prepared to pay any resulting fees or charges. The letter must also provide the name of the person who is the organisations representative in respect to toy library use
LOANS AND RETURNS
Member’s Responsibilities
- All toys can be renewed twice for 2 weeks.
- Toys must be returned to the branch from which they were borrowed.
- Borrowers must clean toys prior to returning them and are also advised to clean the toys before use.
- Toys must be returned in good order, complete and in the correct packaging.
- Charges apply for lost or damaged items, missing parts or packaging.
- Fines apply to late returns: 20 cents per day per toy.
- To maintain the best possible safety standards for toy library equipment, borrowers should report any damage to the library and not attempt repairs.
- Individuals who require a carer and children under 13 years of age are required to be accompanied at all times whilst in the toy library.

All children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult in the toy library
