Citizen of the Year Awards (Australia Day Awards)

2018 City of Marion Australia Day Awards 

Nominations have opened for the City of Marion Australia Day Awards.

The awards will recognise Marion’s community heroes as part of Australia’s biggest annual celebration.

Nominations are being sought in the categories of:

  • Citizen of the Year
  • Young Citizen of the Year: A person must be an Australian Citizen under 30 years or age on 26 January 2018.
  • Community Event of the Year - For the person or group who has staged the most outstanding community event during the past year.
  • Sportsperson / Team of the Year


How to nominate:
You can download a nomination form below or nomination forms are available from the Administration building, neighbourhood centres and libraries and must be submitted by 5pm Friday, 8 December 2017.

The awards will be presented at a special event at the Marion RSL on Friday, 26 January, 2018.
