MCC-Brother-to-BrotherMark & Craig Holden unite

Mark and Craig Holden unite with their hot seven-piece band at the Marion Cultural Centre on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th of February 2018.

This unique show features Mark and Craig sharing lead vocals, belting Mark’s and Vanessa’s hits, plus Craig’s favourite rock, pop and soul covers. Backed by The Rob Pippan Band, the guys will do solos, duets and lots of banter and stories. A fun, entertaining, high-energy show, ‘Brother To Brother’, as only the Holden brothers can. It’s going to be one heck of a night.

Their last appearance at the Fringe was to a standing room-only, capacity crowd with two encores, and the brothers now return with a few new surprises.  With Mark’s SA heritage and Craig and family all based in SA, it was a logical step for the brothers to one day create and perform music together.

Adds Mark: "It’s a blast being the opening act for my big bro Craig "Hollywood" Holden and sharing the stage with him".   As an Australian Idol judge and solo artist of hits ‘Gonna Make You My Lady’, ‘Never Gonna Fall in Love Again’ and ‘Last Romance’, Mark has also written for The Temptations, Belinda Carlisle, and produced/discovered Vanessa Amorosi (co-writing ‘Absolutely Everybody’ and ‘Shine’). Mark’s recently released autobiography is also a hot property at the moment.

Craig Holden’s extensive profile as a live performer includes stints as lead singer of the legendary Moonshine Jug and Strong Band (pre-Angels with the Brewster Brothers), The Smarty Boys and recently the corporate act Audiobox and as new lead singer for the rebooted ‘1965 Masters Apprentices’.   Adds Craig: "Thrilled to be playing again with my brother Mark. In the Holden family tradition of the circus, this is a high wire act with no net! Don’t miss it."
