    Bring along your lunch and join us for a FREE movie screening of The Economics of Happiness. Popcorn provided!

    This award-winning documentary film spells out the social, spiritual, and ecological costs of today’s global economy. Importantly, the film also highlights the many benefits of a shift towards the local, and showcases some of the steps people are already taking worldwide.

    The Economics of Happiness restores our faith in humanity and challenges us to believe that it is possible to build a better world.

    Engage in lively discussion after the movie to share your impressions of the movie and thoughts on how we as a community could move forward.

  • Urban Activation Project Information Session

    Do you think you need a place for people to sit?  Do you think your verge needs greening?  Do you think you can create a destination for people?

    Then the Urban Activation Project is for you. The Urban Activation Project is worth $250,000.

    The project must provide infrastructure that supports the activation of places, improve community amenity and attract markets / events.  Examples of projects may include public art, community art, street furniture, lighting, community gardens, greenways, streetscapes, parklets, smart technology / smart city applications, environmental solutions, graffiti and crime prevention support, outdoor dining, bollards, etc.

    Fennec Fox designs and produces ceramics for foxy peeps! Owner Tara Lee is a maker who inspires with her unique range of stunning ceramic wares.
    Urban Lifestyles stocks a range of gift and homewares most of which are either made locally or are from a local supplier. Their range includes natural soaps and skincare, jewellery, diffusing jewellery, handmade wooden serving boards, metal art, Turkish towels, scarves and bags.

  • Lunchtime de-stress and re-energise: yoga fusion in The Central Forest (adjacent Pod)
    Join us for a Yoga session in the Central Forest and learn ways to de-stress and encourage mindfulness. Bring your Yoga mat along (or use one of ours).
