Edwardstown Honour Board

Is your ancestor on this special list of heroes?

Edwardstown honour board dani and margaret

We are searching for the descendants of more than 200 local servicemen listed on a World War One honour board called the Edwardstown Honour Roll.

The list of soldiers was created in 1918 to commemorate people from the Edwardstown district who had served in WW1.

The board was housed in the old Edwardstown Institute building for 70 years before being rediscovered at the Warradale Army Barracks, Oaklands Park early in 2016.

We would like to find as many descendants as possible of the men and women whose names are listed on the Honour Roll.

Please download the Edwardstown Soldiers List(70 kb) or browse the list of names below and let us know if you recognise a name.

Descendants' Reunion Morning Tea

You are invited to a special Descendants' Reunion Morning Tea on Saturday 22 October, 2016 at the Warradale Barracks, where you can view the Honour Roll, meet other descendants and find out more about your ancestor's service.
