You will require your library card to login.

Simply click on the links below and when prompted enter your library card number (E.g., X0.......). Remember that the only letter in you library card is the letter X at the beginning of the number, all other characteristics are numerals. 

Ancestry Library Edition is also available for library use only.

Good Reading Good Reading

Good Reading Online is an Australian database which helps you find something to read. It includes thousands of easy-to-read independent book reviews and author profiles as well as book trivia.


LyndaLynda logo

Lynda is a user-friendly online training resource. It offers a variety of expertly presented training courses, all of which are edited for accuracy. The flexibility of lyndaLibrary allows you to complete training sections at your own pace, and the site will also save your place for your return.

Road to IELTS is a self-study IELTS preparation course produced by the British Council to help candidates prepare for the IELTS exam.

It provides access to free online self-study materials to support IELTS General Training and IELTS Academic test preparations.

Studiosity is a free service staffed by hundreds of experts, who are waiting online between 3pm to 10pm weekdays and is accessible from any computer with a broadband connection.

Once logged in, you can simply follow the links to find an author whose books you like, and see which other writers are recommended underneath.

A guide to children’s authors is an interactive online tool designed to help parents, teachers and librarians in schools and public libraries to encourage children and young people to read more widely, by suggesting authors they might enjoy. The tool can be used to guide children who have already enjoyed stories by one writer to find others who write in a similar way.
