Marion Swimming Centre (Marion Outdoor Pool)
The Marion Swimming Centre is a premier open air swimming facility set in grassed and shady grounds and located in the heart of Marion, offering summertime fun and relaxation for everyone.
Natural shade from more than 35 mature Chinese Elms as well as attractive, shade cloth over smaller pools and surrounds provide a pleasant, care-free respite even on the hottest of days.
Marion Swimming Centre features a variety of outdoor facilities for all the family, while qualified supervision and a friendly staff ensure a safe, relaxed recreational experience for all.

Olympic pool
Marion Swimming Centre has a full size, eight-lane, heated Olympic Pool offering plenty of space to cool off as well as a top class training venue for the serious competition or lap swimmer. The grounds are flood lit so that the cool water and grassy surrounds can still be enjoyed on those hot summer evenings.
Learner and toddler pools
Marion Swimming Centre offers two smaller pools, which are heated, fully shaded and offer a sun-safe respite for younger children and toddlers.
Supervision
The presence of qualified personnel at all times provides peace of mind and ensures the safety and welfare of pool users.
Marion Swimming Centre participates in the Aquatic industries water safety program (Watch Around Water) promoting supervision by the primary carers of young children.
Children under 5 years:
- Must be constantly supervised by a responsible person (parent or carer)
- Must be accompanied in the water by a responsible person
- Must remain within arms reach at all times in the water
Children under 10 years:
- Must be constantly supervised by a responsible person (parent or carer)
- Must be within clear view with no physical or structural barriers between you and the child
A child of limited swimming ability regardless of age using a floatation device must be accompanied in the water by a responsible person at all time.
60 metre water slide
This inexpensive fun-filled slide is a highlight for people of all ages. Children must be 120cm tall to ride the slide by themselves. Children under the minimum height require a person 18 years or older to take them down the slide. Riding on their lap.
Swimming lessons
At Marion Swimming Centre, swimming lessons are provided to people of all ages, to improve their enjoyment and safety in the water. Call the center on (08) 8276 4939 for prices and session times.
Aquarobics (deep water)
Looking for something to help strengthen your core, inprove fitness or recover from injury? Deep water aquarobics is a great way to improve your fitness. It is a 'Zero Impact' exercise program that uses the resistence of the water to give you the work out. You can adjust your intensity of the activity to suit your fitness level or injury. Using floataion belts, participants float, suspended, with their heads comfortably clear of the water surface.
Classes are run every Sunday morning 8.30am and Wednesday evening 6.15pm and 7.15pm. Each session runs for 45 minutes with a qualified instructor.
Bookings are required as there are limited places in the class available.

BBQs
A free BBQ set in a tree studded, grassed area allows patrons to prepare meals and make a day of it when they visit the pool.
Kiosk
A fully stocked kiosk offers a wide range of hot and cold food and drinks at competitive prices.
Disability facilities
A unique lift system gives patrons with physical disabilities the chance to enjoy a cooling dip in the Olympic Pool. Disabled access to change rooms and toilet facilities means all users can enjoy the Marion Swimming Centre.
Lockers and change rooms
Lockers can be hired for a small charge and patrons have free use of clean, well maintained change rooms with hot and cold showers.
Swim fitness coaching
Marion Masters Swim Club offer Monday 9.30am - 10.30, Tuesday 6pm - 7.30pm , Thursday 6pm - 7.30pm and Saturday morning 8.30am - 10am swim sessions with a qualified coach.

Carparking
Access to Marion Swimming Centre is easy - with 155 carparking spaces and parking for buses and motorbikes. Bike racks have also been conveniently installed near the entrance to the pool.
