Labour charges may be reduced or a payment plan can be arranged in cases of demonstrated financial hardship.

The following guidelines will apply:

You are encouraged to contact Community Care staff at any time that you experience difficulties with meeting the cost of any service.

An annual subsidy reimbursement is available for eligible clients. This payment is for eligible clients receiving a pension only, or similar income, who are also financially disadvantaged. The purpose of the reimbursement is for health, safety or security services that we do not provide, but ensure the person can remain living independently. There are limited funds available each year for this service.

Review of services

Community Care will undertake informal and formal review of services. We encourage all comments and feedback, as this ensures continuous service improvement.

Reviews of individual services will also be undertaken periodically. If you are receiving longer-term support, your service will be reviewed annually, or when your circumstances/needs change, to ensure the service continues to meet your current needs and are achieving set goals.

If the review indicates you are no longer eligible to receive our services, we will provide information, support and referral to My Aged Care and the Regional Assessment Team (RAS) to facilitate the most appropriate service for your need.
