Jervois St Reserve
Work has begun to build a new $940,000 reserve at Jervois St, South Plympton.
The reserve will transform a 6000sq m block of vacant land which Council bought from Housing SA in 2013 to create more open space in the city's north.
Play equipment will include swings, slides, and basketball and netball poles.
There will be junior and senior play spaces, a course for trikes, a central oval, games area, a shelter, barbecue and toilets.
Council is providing $590,000, DPTI $300,000 and Edwardstown Rotary Club $50,000.
More information can be found on the Jervois Street Reserve page.
