Meet the Author Events

The City of Marion Library Service has been running successful author visits since 2002, with a plethora of bestselling celebrity and popular authors visiting Marion and giving the community the opportunity to meet and hear from them.

Special Interest Groups

A range of special interest groups are available at all Marion Library branches. No need to book, just come along to a group that interests you for socialising, sharing information and fun times. Current groups include scrabble, knitting, cake club and digital literacy.

Writer's Groups

The Marion Library Service hosts a Writer's Group, consisting of amateur writers who meet to discuss their work and to provide support and feedback to each other.

Book Discussion Groups
