Plympton Oval in Plympton Park has a neighbourhood playground that was upgraded in 2015.
The playground has a junior play structure with slide and net, a youth play structure with climbing bars and a spinning apparatus and a swing set. The upgrade also included a shade sails over the equipment, accessible pathways and a picnic table with seating.
The City of Marion has a number of reserves along or nearby to the Mike Turtur Bikeway (listed from the City to Glenelg). Why not spend a day exploring them all?

Plympton Oval will be open for use on 16 March 2019. The works undertaken have been significant including installation of underground drainage, new irrigation systems and a complete oval refurbishment. Fencing will remain in place around the cricket pitch until the new turf has firmly established.

Work at Plympton Oval will take place from October 2018 to January 2019 to upgrade the irrigation system , playing surface, install a SACA standard cricket pitch and improve the drainage. The playground will remain open during the construction period. Find out more...
