Square Eyes
Interested in multimedia? The Square Eyes group is for you!
Square Eyes is a large community-access screen in the Marion Cultural Centre. The screen gives artists and local people an opportunity to show off their videos, photos, digital art or other visual creations. The project is an exciting development in community media allowing community access to media equipment including filming and editing equipment.

Aerosol art workshops
Are you an aspiring aerosol artist? Or do you know one? Sometimes when you want to spray it loud it can be hard to find a legal outlet for your skills. The Art of Respect program can help....

Art of Respect provides aerosol art workshops run by professional artists, culminating in an opportunity to show off your work at an A-class gallery.

The Chambers Gallery
An ongoing cultural development program of Council is the use of the Council Chambers in the Administration building on Sturt Road as a community-access exhibition space. The Chambers Gallery is open to the public from 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, except when the Chambers are in use for Council meetings, or for other community meetings and activities.
Exhibiting groups prepare and hang the show themselves (in consultation with the Arts and Culture Officer) and are responsible for their own publicity, launch, insurance and any other costs. For more information contact Vassi - details below.
Stage
The City of Marion owns a portable stage and seating facility available for hire. It seats up to 200 people and can be broken down as a stage, podium, catwalk or bandstand. For information on hiring the facility, contact Vassi - details below.
