If you are a young person between the ages of 12 and 25 years, passionate about issues affecting young people, would like to have your say about
what's important to you and other young people and would like to make a difference in your community then Marion's Youth Advisory Committee
(YAC) is the place to start.

YAC meets once a month, is open to all young people between the ages of 12 and 25 years and offers a variety of activities for young people to have their say and be involved in various projects and activities that contribute to making the City of Marion a great place for young people to live.

YAC is also a great way to make new friends, learn some new skills and work with local government. Training is provided throughout the year in areas such as public speaking, event management, meeting procedures and communication. From time to time YAC members can also take advantage of training being offered through the Office for Youth.
