Elected Members code of conduct

The Code of Conduct for Council Members commenced on 1 September 2013.

Council members must comply with the provisions of this code in carrying out their functions as public officials.

The code has been made by the Local Government (General) Variation Regulation 2013 and gazetted in the Government Gazette on 22 August 2013.

Elected Member Code of Conduct Register

Council resolved that the 25 November 2019 Special General Council meeting to establish an “Elected Member Conduct Register” and publish it on the City of Marion website.

The register will be updated as resolutions are passed by Council and be rolling no less than 3 consecutive council terms.
