125thAnniversary of Women’s Suffrage in South Australia

The City of Marion is recognising the extraordinary efforts of the suffragists in the late 19th and early 20th century, through raising awareness in the community about the movement towards gender equality and our continuing efforts for positive change.

The Marion’s Suffragists project includes three dedicated newsletter’s, a volunteer research project in association with the Marion Heritage Research Centre, Muriel Matters documentary screening and an art project.

The Marion’s Suffragists newsletters are available at all City of Marion Community Centres and Libraries. Click on the below link to see the newsletters.
