Australia Day party at the pool!

The Marion Outdoor Pool is hosting a party full of 'Aussie-themed' fun this Australia Day.

A DJ will be spinning some classic Aussie tunes and a free BBQ, cooked by the Lions Club of Hallett Cove, will be on offer for the first 500 people

The City of Marion is offering free entry to the first 150 people to arrive at the pool.

The facility’s water slides will be open for visitors to enjoy.

The speed slide has a 10-metre drop and sees thrill seekers reach speeds of up to 31km per hour.

For those looking for a more sedate experience, the 70-metre slide includes twists and turns and a tunnel with multi-coloured lighting.

There is a 50-metre pool, shaded learner and toddler pools and the popular splash park.

The pool will be open from 11am to 5pm this Friday.
