About Council
The Department for Trade, Tourism and Investment are pleased to announce their new export grant program – the SA Export Accelerator.
This is a significant project that has been four months in the making. The former Export Partnership Program (EPP) was a successful program with $5 million awarded to South Australian exporters over 3½ years. Under the Government’s election commitments for “Increased funding and more extensive eligibility criteria for export funding support”, the existing program has been pulled apart and made it relevant to today’s exporters.
The grant provides funding support to South Australian businesses at each stage of their export journey and now has three categories:
Emerging Exporter – Grants up to $5,000 are available to South Australian businesses that are exporting for the first time.
Export Accelerator – Grants up to $30,000 are available to help fund business expansion that will create multiple direct ongoing jobs.
New Market Entry – Grants up to $15,000 are available for mature export companies that have exhausted their grant funding but are looking to enter new export markets. New Market Entry of $15,000 per new export market.
The first funding round will close on Friday 21 September 2018.
