Oaklands Reserve, Oaklands Park | Oaklands Recreation Plaza Stage 2

Stage 2 of the Oaklands Recreation Plaza was completed in September 2018.

The upgrade includes new recreational facilities at the site:

• construction of the new iconic rotunda, with accessibility ramp.
• amphitheatre mound for additional informal seating and to provide a natural buffer to the skate park.
• turfed area for events and recreation.

• new colourful trike track.
• bike repair station.
• 3 on 3 basketball court and netball ring

• picnic tables and seating
• shelter.
• BBQ.

• stormwater works.
• planting of trees and shrubs.
• additional car parking adjacent to the trike track (to be opened in the near future).
