No Time To Waste! ‘Plastic Free July’ event at Cove Civic Centre

City of Marion Libraries are hosting a Plastic Free July information session at the Cove Civic Centre next Tuesday evening, July 5.

The session is free of charge and aims to provide information on practical and easy ways for households to go “plastic free” as well as tips on how to avoid, reduce, reuse, or recycle plastic items.

Plastic Free July - No Time To Waste! Runs from 6pm to 7pm at the Cove Civic Centre Off Ragamuffin Drive at Hallett Cove. Registrations are essential and can be made HERE.

Plastic Free July® is a key initiative of the Plastic Free Foundation, a registered Australian not-for-profit organisation working towards a vision of a world free of plastic waste.

The organisation has been promoting Plastic Free July since 2011 with the initiative growing into an international campaign to encourage people to try new behaviours to reduce plastic use and waste.
