Plympton Oval, Plympton Park | Works to be completed March 2019

The Plympton Oval will be open for use on Saturday 16 March 2019.  The cricket pitch area will remain fenced off for a further 2 weeks to ensure optimal playing surfaces for the beginning of football season and other users.

The works undertaken have been significant including installation of underground drainage, new irrigation systems and a complete oval refurbishment. These works, which are required approximately once every 30 years, were necessary to be able to maintain suitable playing surfaces for the highly utilised oval all year round.
