Resilient South is hosting a business event this Friday for small enterprises looking to embrace renewables and contribute towards climate sustainability targets.

The ‘Climate Sustainability for your Business’ event is part of Future Energy Week which is being run by the Tonsley Future Energy Consortium at the Tonsley Innovation District.

Resilient South is a partnership involving the neighbouring Cities of Marion, Holdfast Bay, Onkaparinga and Mitcham, and the State Government. It was set up 11 years ago to get on the front foot in addressing the localised impacts of climate change.

The networking session provides an opportunity for businesses to join industry leaders, local government, and the community to learn about climate sustainability and net zero pathways for your business.

Guest speakers include Rob Morris, Founder and Chief Executive of iO Energy; Merrily Hunter, Managing Director of Trades Services SA; Geoff Titus, Chief Executive of Zen Energy; and Jodie Bricout, Principal of Circular Economy, Aurecon Group.

The speakers will also be joined by Andrew Kay from Business SA and Greg Schumann from Engie ANZ for a panel discussion moderated by Resilient South’s Stefan Caddy-Retalic.

Future Energy Week is a collaborative approach to furthering South Australian and global energy innovation.

The business event is being held at the Tonsley Innovation District at 8am on Friday, November 11. Tickets can be booked at Eventbrite.
