The City of Marion has announced the successful recipients of its latest rounds of Community Grants and Youth Grants, helping a range of local clubs and organisations.
“These two grant streams support local groups deliver projects and programs that build up our community,” Mayor of Marion Kris Hanna said.
“They help community groups to buy equipment.
“They assist organisations with programs to increase well-being across the community.”
The last round of Community Grants, endorsed by Council this week, provided more than $48,000 to 14 groups including:

Council also endorsed five Youth Grants valued at $49,900 under its Youth Grants Program Round 2 for 2022/23 to:
Applications for the next rounds of Youth and Community Grants open on Friday, July 28, and close on Monday, August 28.
Applicants are encouraged to visit the Council website for details, guidelines, and eligibility criteria.
Next financial year Council will distribute $120,000 worth of Youth Grants via two rounds of $60,000 each.
The change in format is expected to assist organisations to identify emerging needs in the community and tailor programs or activities to meet those needs.
