Nannigai and Capella Reserves Precinct Upgrade

Council will transform Nannigai and Capella Reserves over three stages from 2020 – 2022.
This follows Marion Council endorsement on the Hallett Cove precinct plan in June this year.
The project will feature new playgrounds, sports facilities, walking trails, seating and picnic facilities.

Nannigai and Coorabie Reserves (Stage 1)

Nannigai will be upgraded as a family friendly recreational reserve with:

  • a new junior playground
  • nature play
  • multipurpose court/s
  • family friendly picnic areas
  • barbeque facilities.

This stage will include walking paths and landscaping through Coorabie Reserve.

Construction of Stage 1 is anticipated to commence in 2020.

Capella Reserve (Stage 2 and 3)

Capella Reserve will be upgraded with:

  • play equipment
  • skate facilities
  • walking paths
  • a public toilet
  • seating
  • picnic and shade areas

A concept plan with options will be presented to the community for feedback in 2020.
