Consultation on the draft concept via Making Marion occurred from 11 September to 5 October 2020. A community drop in session was held on 19 September 2020 at Capella Reserve.

Feedback from the consultation has informed the development of a Concept Design.

Final community feedback was sought on the concept design in November 2020.

Council has received matching funding from the Federal Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure program to construct the skate park in mid 2021.
