Supplementary election – Woodlands Ward

A supplementary election will be held to fill a vacancy in Woodlands Ward following the resignation of a Councillor.

The election will occur in December with the successful candidate’s term due to expire in November 2022.

Local government elections provide an opportunity to elect representatives who aspire to make their community a better place to live.

Unlike state and federal elections, it is not compulsory to vote in council elections. All voting is done by post. Enrolled voters receive a voting package through the mail and return their votes in a reply paid envelope.
