Trott Park Neighbourhood Centre Playground

Hessing Crescent Reserve in Trott Park surrounds the Trott Park Neighbourhood Centre. It is a neighbourhood level playground.

The playground features a brightly painted “smurf” cubby house, built as part of the Hallett Cove Youth Project in 2009, is situated at the front of the centre along with a picnic table.

The playground has a moulded plastic multistation under shady trees. Toddlers will love the slides and exploring the hidey-holes. The kangaroo and car springers will also keep them amused.

The small concrete loop path is great for junior scooting or cycling.

At the rear there is a large shelter shed, an undercover picnic table and BBQ.

Plenty of verandah space makes this a great space for either hot or intermittent-weather days.

Find out more about what activities and courses the centre provides on their webpage.

Hessing Crescent Reserve

The reserve is expansive, running the length of the western end of Hessing Crescent.

An old gum tree greets you at the entrance to the car park. A grove of deciduous trees provide a shady space in summer, overlooking a sloping hill. From here you can see cars and trucks whizz past on the Southern Expressway.

The other end of the reserve is grassy with bench seating.
