Style

I am an Adelaide based artist, printmaking lecturer and graduate of AC Arts and UniSA. I am interested in the characteristics of etching, variation, imperfection, repetition and the use of non-print media such as domestic objects. My work delves into the realms of dreams, the human condition, life, death & rebirth, domesticity and the human connection to the natural world.

Biography

My practice focuses on creating unique state prints, installations and collections. I use non-toxic techniques and am interested in both contemporary and traditional printmaking methods.

Achievements

I have undertaken printmaking residencies in Veracruz and Michoacan, Mexico and have established Intercambio Grafico, a printmaking exchange between Mexico & Australia, with Mexican artist Pablo Querea. My current research investigates the classification of what home is. This research involved travelling solo throughout Mexico, Central America and the United States for a year.
