Style

Recently i have completed my Diploma in Graphic Design and Illustration at Tea Tree Gully Campus. I specialise in acrylic paint. I enjoy creating powerful illustrations using visual metaphors. I've studied the acrylic medium and practice everyday in order to refine my skills. My work is considered to be technically fine. I love detail and whimsical surrealism, and would like to be a big eyes painter and create beautiful and powerful work. Some of the artists I look up to are Mark Ryden, Benjamin Lacombe and Margret Keane.

Biography

I am 18 years old and I have always loved drawing and painting whimsical and surreal characters and settings, ever since i was a little girl. I feel that a lot of my influence comes from my mother. Growing up she wasn't well, she had schizophrenia and still does despite that fact she always painted and drew with me when I was younger and used to tell me about fairies and not stepping in mushroom circles.

Achievements

Recently I have completed my Diploma in Graphic Design and Illustration at Tea Tree Gully Campus. I learned a great deal such as how to use Adobe programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop. I was also involved with the City of Marion program called Art Of Respect. I've exhibited in two exhibitions for this program and sold my work.
