Inks and Acrylics - Contemporary Textured Works - On Canvas and PaperInGlass Art

Biography

I reside in Willunga, SA with my family. An organic painter, I use inks, watercolour, acrylics, enamels, man made and natural products to produce my art. Intense colour and texture are used to interpret the Australian environment and landscape, creating the image of a feeling or experience one can share.  Experimenting plays an important part in my work, encouraging the unexpected and fostering new discoveries.

I am influenced by the Australian landscape and nature in general, being inspired by its beauty and spirit. I am constantly searching for new materials leading to new techniques which add refinement to established methods. I use earthy colours and textures which add a tactile quality to the rich glazed surfaces.

Original paintings are held in private and corporate collections in France, Italy, Holland, United States of America, Canada, New Zealand, Israel, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Denmark and throughout Australia.

My unique contemporary style of painting suits private collectors, corporate offices, hotel foyers, bedrooms and boardrooms. Existing artwork pieces or commission artworks are available for clients with a taste for individual and original pieces.

I am always interested and available for community and public art projects works.

More recently I was invited to exhibit in New York at Agora Gallery which is a fantastic experience for any artist.  While exhibiting at Agora I was invited to exhibit with two other galleries.

Currently I am working in collaboration with a Queensland artist on a project about water conservation and our environment which will be exhibited in Italy next year.

Last year I worked with an Adelaide Architectural firm on a project using my InGlass Art.

I was also commissioned by AVK Australia for two large InGlass Art works for their head office.

My images are created and encapsulated in a specially developed propriety interlayer, between clear toughened and laminated safety glass. Applications are endless providing architects and all clients with absolute freedom. A few examples: Artworks/Painting - Art Sculptures - Glass doors and walls, foyers, lobbys, receptions areas, etc. Glaziers simply install my InGlass Art like any normal
