Mixed media with a contemporary expression. Over the past 20 years I have ventured to the Islands of the Gods annually, living and working within the community for periods of up to four months. Consequently I have been greatly influenced by the culture and ceremony which are repeatedly displayed by the Balinese community to constantly keep in touch with the Gods.

My work is mixed media involving paste, inks, acrylic, pastel, marble dust and even at times the volcanic sands from the beaches along the East Coast. In my work I express and draw from my inner emotions to enable me to make my statements of the people, their culture and beautiful island. Regular visits to the small fishing village of Padangbaiare are always a rewarding, inspirational and cleansing experience for me.
