Biography

Over a long career I have written award-winning theatre, an International Emmy winning children’s telemovie, a handful of feature films and numerous TV dramas for both adults and kids. I hava script edited and story edited on the ABC’s AFI Award winning series “Something In The Air” and “MDA” and written, produced and directed several documentaries.

My work in animation include story editing and writing “The Odd Family” for Enjoy Entertainment/TF1 and more recently “Vic The Viking” and “The Woodlies” for Flying Bark/7 Network/ZDF/TF1.

My theatre works include “Percy and Rose” which toured nationally and “Lovers and Haters” for the Adelaide Festival and the Award Winning “Errol Flynn’s Great Big Adventure Book For Boys”.

I am currently writing a feature film which is being supported by the SA Film Corporation.

Achievements

I have written extensively about Australian and South Australian topics and retain a strong interest in historical and biographical topics.

I am available for writing or producing screen-based or prose-based projects. I have also taught screenwriting and script editing at RMIT University and am available to help other writers develop their work
