Biography

I was born in Canada in 1963, and at just 4 years old started to show artistic talent through modeling clay. I travelled to Australia when I was 19, eventually arriving in Adelaide, where I still reside with my family.

I am a self-taught artist and began sculpting in 2001, having achieved remarkable success since that time.

I am a member of the Red House Group, Council member of The Wildlife Art Society of Australasia, and a Fellow of the Royal South Australian Society of Arts.

My work can be found in collections around the world, both in the private and public sectors, and I work on commissions.

Achievements

Dozens of awards including:

  • Twice winning the "Silver Medal" at the Wild Awards, (Wildlife Art Society of Australasia’s biennial exhibition held in Melbourne).
  • Selected an International Finalist at the 2013 Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize.
  • Won the "People's Choice" award at the 2009 Brighton Sculptures by the Sea.
  • Just recently I won "Most Outstanding Artwork in any Media" at the 12th Annual City of Marion Community Exhibition.
