A strong partnership exists between the City of Marion, City of Onkaparinga and the Southern Adelaide Economic Development Board who together have developed a Strategic Plan which sets out Five Economic Priorities to position Southern Adelaide as the best place to live, work, invest, visit and do business

The purpose of the Southern Adelaide Economic Development Board is to provide industry leadership to further develop the Southern Adelaide economy, to influence the decision-making of organisations and individuals which will have a positive impact on the future of the region, and to promote the region as a location for business success.
