We are excited to announce our newly named Positive Ageing and Inclusion Team, formerly Community Care. Our new name aligns more closely with the role and purpose of the Commonwealth Home Support Programme and the Federal Government direction. We embrace the positive contribution and inclusion of all people in our community and endeavor to support you to increase your wellbeing, be socially connected and live life to the fullest.

Positive Ageing and Inclusion services can include cleaning, basic home maintenance and modification, gardening, advocacy, social support and transport. These services are jointly funded by the Commonwealth, State Governments and the City of Marion. They include a subsidised service to eligible people who need minimal support to manage activities at home and do not receive a similar service from any other provider.

The aim of our service is to promote, provide and support independence, enabling people to remain living at home while maintaining their wellbeing and social connections.

We offer flexible services to suit the individual and promote lifestyle choices.

Residents must meet specific eligibility criteria. A wait list may exist for some services.
