Justice of the Peace (JP)

A Justice of the Peace (JP) in South Australia is typically someone of good stature in the community who, providing they are satisfied with the capability of the signatory, is authorised to witness and sign:

  • Statutory declarations
  • Affidavits
  • Waiver rights
  • Search warrants
  • Divorce documents

A JP can also certify copies of original documents as well as witness the signing of advanced care directive documents.

  • Monday: 9 am to 12 pm
  • Tuesday: 9 am to 3 pm

  • Friday: 9 am to 12 pm

JP availability is updated 9 am daily. No bookings required.

Park Holme Library

Photocopies

Please organise your photocopying requirements prior to attending the Administration Centre.
Photocopying is available (fees apply) at either Officeworks or any Australia Post outlet.
Photocopying facilities are available at our library branches.

Limit on the quantity of documents

No more than 20 certified copies can be signed per person.
