In response to the Commonwealth Disability Discrimination Act (1992), the City of Marion Access Plan was produced in consultation with all council departments, some Government Agencies and stakeholders from the local community in 2001.

Adult Safeguarding Unit - Responds to reports of suspected or actual abuse of older adults who may be vulnerable. https://www.sahealth.sa.gov.au
Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission- The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission assesses and monitors the performance of aged care providers against the standards to ensure people are receiving safe and high quality services. Charter of Aged Care Rights - the rights all people whether they are receiving aged care services in the community or a residential facility.
