Transport options to help people live independently and be active members of our community.
Door-to-door transport services for residents who require assistance to access community activities, medical appointments, shopping centres, and libraries.
Community Passenger Network (CPN)
People living in the Inner Southern Metro region who are unable to reach their destination because they are frail or elderly, living with disability or are transport disadvantaged may be eligible for transport assistance.
The Inner Southern Metro CPN operates within the City of Mitcham, Marion and Holdfast Bay and can assist with transport to:
Social activity / Community Event;
Shopping outing, and;
Medical appointment.
Community Bus
The Community Bus is a door-to-door service supported by the City of Marion volunteer drivers. This service travels to specific destinations, including shopping centres, libraries, neighbourhood centres and senior citizens clubs.
Transport is available to attend community and neighbourhood centre groups and activities.

Social Support (accompanied by a volunteer)
A volunteer assisted service for people who need someone to stand beside them. The City of Marion volunteer will pick up, transport and accompany the person to and/or from medical or allied health appointments/activities, shopping and banking needs, friendly visiting or social outings to enjoy a lunch or coffee and a chat. Decluttering and assistance with non legal forms.
