Transport and social support options are available to help people live independently and be active members of our community.
Door-to-door transport services are suitable for residents who need to attend social or community activities, medical appointments, shopping centres, and libraries.
These services aim to enable people to continue to participate in daily activities within their community.
The Community Bus is a door-to-door service supported by the City of Marion volunteer drivers. This service travels to specific destinations, including shopping centres, libraries, neighbourhood centres and senior citizens clubs.

A volunteer assisted service for people who need someone to stand beside them. The City of Marion volunteer will pick up, transport and accompany the person to and/or from medical or allied health appointments/activities, shopping and banking needs, friendly visiting or social outings to enjoy a lunch or coffee and a chat. Assistance is also available for decluttering and non-legal forms.
