Syringes / needles

Discarded syringes

Council will pick up discarded syringes/needles from public places 24 hours a day, seven days a week as they are a serious health and safety risk.

To do this we require a specific address with the exact location of the needle (e.g. "a few steps to the left of the gate", " next to the drink fountain'', etc.), if known.

Please report these by calling our customer service centre during business hours of 8.30am to 5pm, or calling our emergency after hours service
