Services we offer
Household, garden and pool chemicals are dangerous to the community and the environment. They must not be put in any of your bins at home. Hazardous household waste includes chemicals, insecticides, varnishes and solvents from your kitchen, bathroom, laundry and garden shed.
A drop-off depot for chemicals and paint is now open 7 days a week at:
Adelaide Waste and Recycling Centre
181 Morphett Road, North Plympton
Open Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, Saturday 8am-3pm, Sunday 10am-3pm
Large quantities of commercial chemicals from businesses will not be accepted. Householders and trade painters can dispose of up to 100 litres of paint.
The drop-off service at North Plympton is provided free of charge by State Government for all households and other drop-off sites for household chemicals and paint will be opening soon.
