Digitize It!

In conjunction with SA Youth Week the City of Marion is proud to announce the launch of Digitize it! An online campaign that will led by local young people. This is a space for sharing, creating, participation and celebrating the many talents and passions of young people within our city.

This year things are very different for young people across the globe and more than ever we need to celebrate the contributions young people make to our community every day.

We are looking for 3-4 young people to help drive this project and expressions of interest are open via email at voiceit@marion.sa.gov.au until 28/04/2020.

Digitize it! Is a direct response to the findings from the 2019-2023 Voice it! Youth Report.

Youth Engagement Scholarship Opportunity

Applications are now open for City of Marion's Youth Engagement scholarship to Venture Dorm.

This partnership will give five young adults who live, work or play in the City of Marion township an opportunity to take their business ideas through Venture Dorm. We're inviting people aged between 18-25, who are drawn to entrepreneurship and value the possibilities of a career path less travelled to apply. If that sounds like you, or anyone you know, please spread the word.

Applicants will be shortlisted for interviews in early March, ahead of Venture Dorm kicking off on March 24th. The five successful founders chosen will receive a fully sponsored place in the 8 week program, valued at $995.

Youth Development Grants

The Youth Development Grants are designed to support eligible groups and organisations to deliver exciting, well-managed and relevant activities and programs whilst strengthening connections for young people 12-25 years in our community.

The grants can assist youth organisations and services to identify projects that they feel meet a local need, utilising their experience, expertise and existing connections in the City of Marion. The Youth Development Grants will contribute to providing positive opportunities in a strong, connected and inclusive community.
