Artist Monica Prichard will lead a live Facebook streaming workshop from the Marion Cultural Centre at 2pm on Friday 22 May. Monica invites you to join her in making a variety of different pom pom craft. Demonstrating how to use a pom pom to create a pom pom garland and or a pom pom creature like a teddy bear, bee, and even a lady bug.

Materials List

  • Wool, in colours related to the creature you are making
  • Cardboard, for pom pom template
  • Plastic lids, one large on small, to trace circles to create a template. A nutella and a juice lid work well for this.
  • Pen, for tracing lids
  • A fork, for creating smaller pom poms
  • Googly eyes or buttons
  • Sharp scissors
  • Hot glue or craft glue
