Elton by Brenton COM events

There's no doubt about it - Elton John is still standing! The hits include Your Song, Rocket Man, Candle in the Wind, Bennie and The Jets and Crocodile Rock, just to name a few. And you'll love the music that Sir Elton & Tim Rice wrote for the movie musical "The Lion King".

The show includes a tribute-within-a-tribute to five more piano playing, singing superstars; performers who first inspired Elton, and others who Elton has inspired! Ray Charles (whose final recording was of an Elton John song), Billy "Bad Habits" Field, Liberace, Peter Allen and - of course - Billy Joel are all paid their due in this musically diverse and inspiring concert.

Adelaide's own Brenton Edgecombe has been impersonating Elton John for over 30 years, and now sounds so much like Sir Elton that you'd swear you're listening to the real thing! In this show he is joined by his wife and former Adelaide Symphony member Jacqui Edgecombe (nee Curiel) on cello, vocals and percussion. The couple have been performing together for over 25 years winning five Australian Entertainment industry 'MO' Awards.
