First Avenue Reserve Image

You are invited to join us for the official opening of the upgraded First Avenue Reserve on Wednesday, 14 August, 11am to 1pm.

As well as seeing this much-improved reserve, you can enjoy a free barbecue, Syrian pastries and coffee.

Council has invested $95,000 in upgrading the reserve with new play equipment, including a small stage with tree stump stools, swing, log tunnel, and vertical timber poles which children can climb on. The shelter has also been refurbished.

Thanks to several local groups, we added additional features inspired by local native plants and fruits.
