Celebrate Harmony Day and Australian multiculturalism with us. Journey around the world, visiting people from different countries over coffee and traditional afternoon tea - visit one or visit them all!

1.30pm ~ Poland:

Meet Ola! Ola Wleklinski graduated from Wroclaw University in Poland (Librarianship and Scientific Information) in 1982. She continued to study in her area of interest after migrating to Australia, completing post graduate studies in Librarianship and Information Management at the University of South Australia.

Ola will discuss her life in the Eastern block of Europe, the times of “Solidarnosc” in Poland, the collapse of  Communism and the Berlin wall and the way of life in 60s, 70s and 80s Poland.
