Lunchtime Lit WEB OCTOBER

Each month, join James McCluskey-Garcia from Reading Companions Australia over lunch for a storytime session just for adults!

October's fantastical read is 'Battleaxe' by Sara Douglass, the first book in the Axis Trilogy. This book revolves around Axis, Battleaxe of the Axe-Wielders, and Faraday, daughter of Earl Isend of Skarabost. Their lives are forever changed by a prophecy, and by meeting each other.

James will read an excerpt from the book and discuss plot, character, themes, history of the author and book before online Q&A/discussion from our listeners.
