Lunchtime Lit WEB DECEMBER

Each month, join James McCluskey-Garcia from Reading Companions Australia over lunch for a storytime session just for adults!

December's read is A Christmas Carol, a novella by Charles Dickens, first published in London by Chapman & Hall in 1843. This classic tale recounts the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly miser who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come.

James will read an excerpt from the book and discuss plot, character, themes, history of the author and book before online Q&A/discussion from our listeners.
