The Marion Mosque is a unique cultural and religious landmark in the City of Marion.
In the spirit of cultural and religious harmony, the Islamic Society of SA invites you to step inside and learn about the history, functions and Islamic faith in this special community event.
Come along and enjoy Arabic coffee with sweets, a tour of the Mosque, prayer observation and Q & A with volunteers and community members.
This event encourages interfaith dialogue and cross cultural understanding.
Free family event, all welcome.
All visitors are requested to remove their shoes to enter the Mosque. Please dress modestly. Appropriate dress code includes long pants or skirts and long sleeves. Limited shawls will be prepared for ladies to use or you can bring your own if you prefer.
Chairs will be available for visitors with mobility requirements.
