The event will include the official unveilling of a plaque to mark the upgrade. Families will be able to enjoy an exciting range of new facilities and a free morning tea. The celebration event will also include come ‘n’ try Tai Chi sessions.
What work has been done?
Council has invested $550,000 in transforming the reserve. There is a new playground, scooter path and multipurpose sports court for basketball, tennis and soccer.

This site is being improved in conjunction with the adjacent Capella Reserve. Once completed, the precinct will include a new skate park, walking trails and additional car parking.
The opening is being arranged in accordance with COVID-safe practices.
